FAQ
Anyone with a valid first aid certificate can be a first aider. The role of a first aider includes recognizing an emergency, contacting emergency medical services (EMS), and providing prompt care until EMS arrives on scene.
First aid refers to the immediate care provided to an injured person until professional medical care can be obtained. CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) involves the combination of rescue breaths and chest compressions to circulate oxygen to vital organs when the heart and breathing have stopped.
Blended courses combine an online training component (theory) with an in-person component at our training facility (hands-on skills testing). This format significantly reduces time spent in class while still ensuring you receive the same certification as a fully in-class course.
