Refund and Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy for in-Class Courses Only

NOTE: A spot at the course is only held once a payment has been received by the Canadian Health Care Provider Training Institute . We cannot book another student for the course unless you cancel your registration with enough notice.

 

Canadian Health Care Provider Training Institute may cancel any course due to low enrollment or instructor illness. Your registration will be transferred to another course at no charge, or a full refund will be issued.

  • if you cancel the course 72 Hours prior to the day of training, you will get refunded.
  • 20 $ administration fees will be applied to any refund due to your cancellation request.    
  • If you cancel the course within 72 to 24 hours before the training days, we will refund you 50% of the amount you paid.
  • if you cancel in less than 24 hours, we will not be refunded or reschedule
  • If you cancel your registration, you must email us to issue a refund.
  • Any cancellation of training or rescheduling there is a 20$ Administrative Fee will be applied 
  • if you reschedule the course, you can not ask for a refund later(contact us for more information), and you can reschedule only one time due to an emergency at least one day before the training( Not on the morning of the training) 
  • No Show, No Refund, and No Credit.
  • All requests for rescheduling or any request in an emergency must be submitted by email, not by phone call. The email address is Info@chcpt.ca

Course cancellation Due to unexpected situations

  • Even though it is very rare, the Canadian Health Care Provider Training Institute reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a course in the case of an emergency, instructor illness, or low enrollment. In such an event, participants may choose either a full refund or a  Care Provider transfer to another date. 
  • Canadian Health Care Provider Training Institute will attempt to notify participants of any cancellations within 24-48 hours before a course.
  • During the winter months, we will attempt to notify participants of any cancellations due to storm conditions at least 24 hours prior to a course.

Course Requirements For In class & Blended

  • Participants are required to attend the entire class, and participation is mandatory.
  • Participants are evaluated based on their ability to perform the skills during the course, in addition to a written multiple-choice test.
  • Refunds will not be provided for unsuccessful attempts.
  • If you are late for ANY in class course you will NOT be permitted to attend the training.  You will be required to reschedule and pay any associated fees with the booking.  By registering a course with us, you are confirming that you WILL be able to attend the training and arrive on time.
  • We need 100% attendance for in-person courses in order to issue the respective course certificates. 
  • We follow the Heart and Stroke Policies and for anyone not meeting the standard we can’t issue a certificate for them.
