BLS Level

Emergency Medical Responder (EMR)

EMRs are certified first responders trained to provide immediate Basic Life Support (BLS) care on scene — bridging the gap until paramedic or EMS services arrive. Ideal for lower-risk sites and events.

  • Scene safety assessment & patient assessment
  • CPR and AED for adults, children & infants
  • Oxygen administration & airway management
  • Hemorrhage control & wound management
  • Shock management & patient stabilization
  • Splinting, spinal precautions & immobilization

Clinically Trained. Fully Equipped. On Scene.

When a medical emergency happens, the first few minutes define the outcome. Our Paramedics and EMRs are trained to act immediately — not wait.

  • Ontario-Licensed Paramedics

All Paramedics are licensed under the Ambulance Act of Ontario and registered with the College of Paramedics of Ontario — the highest standard of prehospital care available.

  • Certified EMR First Responders

Our EMRs are trained and certified to deliver immediate BLS care on scene — CPR, AED, hemorrhage control, and patient stabilization — until EMS or Paramedic support arrives.

  • Fully Stocked Medical Kits

Teams arrive with AEDs, oxygen systems, trauma kits, IV supplies, cardiac monitors, medications, and all equipment needed to manage emergencies before hospital handoff.

  • Coverage Scaled to Your Risk Level

We assess your site's risk profile and recommend the right responder level — EMR for lower-risk environments, Paramedic or a combined ALS/BLS team for higher-risk or large-scale sites.

Frequently Asked Questions – Onsite Medical Support

Everything you need to know about our Paramedic and EMR onsite medical support services.

An Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) is trained to provide immediate Basic Life Support (BLS) care — CPR, AED, oxygen, hemorrhage control, and patient stabilization. A Paramedic holds a higher level of clinical training and can perform Advanced Life Support (ALS) interventions including IV therapy, medication administration, cardiac monitoring, and advanced airway management. The right level depends on your site's risk profile.

It depends on the size, type, and risk level of your site or event. EMRs are well-suited for lower-risk environments such as smaller events and corporate settings. Paramedics are recommended for high-risk industrial sites, large events, locations far from EMS, or where advanced interventions may be needed. We assess your needs and recommend the right coverage — or a combined ALS/BLS team.

Yes. All our Paramedics are licensed under the Ambulance Act of Ontario and registered with the College of Paramedics of Ontario. Our EMRs are certified under the Emergency Medical Responder standard and maintain active certification with regular skills recertification.

EMR teams carry AEDs, oxygen delivery systems, full trauma and wound care kits, splinting and immobilization equipment, blood glucose monitoring, and epinephrine auto-injectors. Paramedic teams carry all of the above plus IV supplies, cardiac monitors, advanced airway equipment, and a full complement of emergency medications.
