Our BLS course is 4 hours of intensive, hands-on training — perfect for busy healthcare professionals. You'll arrive, complete all skills stations and scenarios, and walk out fully certified the same day.

Your Heart & Stroke Foundation BLS Provider certificate is valid for 2 years. After that, a BLS renewal/recertification course is required to maintain your certification status.

Yes. The Heart & Stroke Foundation BLS Provider certificate issued by CHCPTI is recognized by hospitals, clinics, and healthcare employers nationwide across Canada, including Ontario, and meets provincial healthcare licensing requirements.

No prior certification is required for your initial BLS course. Participants should be physically able to perform CPR (kneel on the floor, perform chest compressions). For renewals, bring your expiring or recently-expired BLS card if available.
