All fees paid for online training programs, online learning modules, annual memberships, and yearly memberships are final and non-refundable under any circumstances, including partial use, non-use, withdrawal, scheduling conflicts, or failure to complete the program.
No refunds, credits, transfers, or exchanges will be provided for these purchases.
A seat in a course is reserved only after full payment has been received by the Canadian Health Care Provider Training Institute (CHCPTI). Registration is not guaranteed until payment is received. Unpaid registrations may be released to other participants.
Although course cancellations are rare, CHCPTI reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any course due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to:

CHCPTI will make every effort to notify participants of course cancellations at least 24–48 hours before the scheduled course date. During winter months, weather-related cancellations will be communicated as early as possible, generally at least 24 hours in advance.
Participants must submit cancellation requests at least 72 hours (3 days) before the scheduled training date to be eligible for a refund.
Please note that online course fees associated with ACLS and PALS Blended Courses are non-refundable.

CHCPTI requires 100% attendance for all in-person courses. Participants who do not attend the full course are not eligible to receive certification.
Punctual attendance is mandatory.
Participants arriving late for any in-class course will not be permitted to join the training session. The participant will be required to reschedule and pay any applicable fees associated with the new booking.
By registering for a course, participants acknowledge their responsibility to arrive on time and attend the entire course.
For blended learning courses, rescheduling requests submitted less than 72 hours before the scheduled classroom session will not be accepted.
CHCPTI follows all applicable Heart & Stroke Foundation standards and certification requirements.
Certificates can only be issued to participants who successfully meet all course requirements, including attendance, skill performance, and examination standards. Participants who do not meet the required standards will not be eligible to receive certification.
All cancellation requests, refund requests, rescheduling requests, and emergency notifications must be submitted by email. Requests made by telephone will not be accepted.
